Art Studio in the Italian Market in Phila.
I always say - Relationships are never easy, especially those between color, shape, texture and space. No matter what medium I use, everything from aluminum to cardboard I try to create a tension in each piece. The Relationship of the work to the viewer hopefully connects the universal to the personal.
As an abstract painter living in New Jersey my studio is in the Italian Market in Philadelphia where I’ve been working for the 30 plus years. In 2011 I was the recipient of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship for painting, and in 2000 the Samuel Fleisher Challenge Exhibit in Philadelphia. My work has been exhibited in New York (Chelsea), Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Delaware and China. Many works are in public and private collections. Among them: SAP Software Corporation in Germany Morgan-Lewis Legal Firm in Princeton NJ Jenkins & Martin Law Firm in Texas Bank of America in Delaware Boston Consulting in Philadelphia PA Cooper Anderson Hospital in NJ Liberty Properties in PA New York Presbyterian Childrens Hospital the State of New Jersey. I have studied at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Fleisher Art Memorial, and have been a graphic designer for many years.
